DUI checks Sept. 25 in Leyden Township

Friday, September 25th, Cook County Sheriff's Police conducted a random search in Leyden Township. According to the office of Sheriff Thomas J. Dart, drivers will be randomly screened for proper licensing, registration and any other violations. This checkpoint is one of many such as seat belt checkpoint, DUI, drug searches, etc. The searches try to make our streets more safe. So young Leyden drivers make sure you drive safe and have proper registration and insurance to be able to drive legally. Buckle up so you save yourself money on those harsh tickets.
